Happy New Year everyone!
This is my first Challenge for 2024. This one is brought to you by TGIF Challenges. A new card challenge is uploaded each week, and it's a great way to have some fun, and get creative. This week is a colour challenge using Black, Silver and Gold. Here is my entry for the challenge this week.
For this card I have used a Basic White (Thick) card base. On a mat of Basic Black I have used a design from the Snowflake Magic DSP as my background, with a strip from the Natures Sweetness DSP matted on Basic Black for a strip on the left hand side of my card.
Using the Stitched Rectangles dies, I cut out a panel in the Gold Foil Sheet, and used Black Stazon to stamp and an image from the Lovely & Sweet Stamp Set on this panel before matting it on Basic Black cardstock, and applying a die cut (once again in Basic Black) from the Lovely & Sweet bundle to create the tab, to the back of this panel.
I then used the Lovely & Sweet dies to cut out an image from the Natures Sweetness DSP, also applying this layer to Basic Black cardstock and fussy cutting around the die cut image with my Paper Snips. I feel this layer makes the image pop of all of those background layers. I popped this completed image up using Stampin' Dimensionals.
The sentiment I chose was from the Layering Leaves Stamp Set. It was embossed with Silver Embossing Powder, fussy cut with my Paper Snips and adhered to the bottom right hand corner of the card with Mini Dimensionals.
As this concludes my card, I would like to take the opportunity to thank you so much for stopping by today!
