Craft This Way - Insta-hop Crazy Challenge #38 - I SEE AUTUMN

Well hello everyone!  I am back :)

I spent almost the entire month of February in Darwin with my daughter, who gave birth to my first grandchild, Hazel.  She is so adorable, and three weeks old today.

Here is a little sneak of my beautiful chubby cheeks granddaughter.  I am so in love with her.

Now that I am back home, it's time to get stuck into a routine again.

Today's post is a card I created as part of the Craft This Way - Crazy Challenge Insta-Hop #crazychallenge38 for 29th February 2024.  The theme for this challenge is I SEE AUTUMN.

THE CHALLENGE

I’m taking part in #crazychallenge38 Crazy Challenge Insta-Hop using Stampin’ Up!® products.

ABOUT MY CARD

On a Basic White (Thick) card base, I added a mat of Copper Clay cardstock.

The next layer is Basic White cardstock that I have stamped with several images from the Autumn Leaves Stamp Set in Pumpkin Pie, Crushed Curry with Wild Wheat, and Wild Wheat with Old Olive.  I used Early Expresso for the veins of the leaves.

Using the Scalloped Contrours Die Set I die cut a smaller mat with Basic White cardstock to make the other die cut images pop against the white background.  The autumn leaves were die cut from the Autumn Leaves Die Set in Copper Clay, Wild Wheat and Old Olive.  I also used tone on tone to blend around the leaves with their co-ordinating Classic Ink colours.

I then applied Wink of Stella generously all over the card for some gorgeous shimmer, before adding Linen Thread for texture.

The sentiment is from the Autumn Leaves Stamp Set, and I used Early Expresso on Basic White Thick cardstock, and popped it up with Stampin Dimensionals.

Finally, I added the 2023-2025 In Colour Dots in Copper Clay to finish off the look of this autumn inspired card.

I hope you enjoyed reading about my card and this challenge.
