It is not one of those times when you think you would need a card like this. But, today was one of those days. This morning, a very dear friend lost her father, and she is one of those people who is always there during thick and thin...good times and bad. I am the type of person who can never find words to express how I feel, but letting my friend know that I am thinking of her was all that was needed. "My dear friend...I am thinking of you".
This very special Sympathy card I actually used the cardboard backing from a DSP collection and embossed it with the Painted Texture embossing folder. I spritzed the cardboard before embossing so that it would not crack. It gives such a beautiful glossy sheen, but not too glossy...and we really don't want to waste anything. I mounted this on Pale Papaya cardstock, and also added Pale Papaya Faux Velvet Trim.
I stamped the Ginkgo Branch image with Evening Evergreen and cut with the matching Ginkgo Branch die set. Sentiment and frame are also from the Ginkgo Branch Bundle.
