I created this elegant card as part of an Instagram Challenge to say a farewell to the Stampin' Up! May 2022 - April 2023 Catalogue as well as the January-April 2023 Catalogue. At the end of April we will say goodbye to some of our favorite Stampin' Up products, suites, bundles, papers and more. But we will also welcome some beautiful new products.
Today, April 8th, the theme of the Instagram Challenge was "I See Aqua". Therefore, I have featured the Hues of Happiness DSP, showcasing the blue/aqua tones. As a background I used the Two-Tone Flora die for added texture matted on a layer of Pool Party. If you were wanting to re-create this card, the Blossoming Happiness Dies also contains a beautiful background if you have the complete Hues of Happiness Suite. Unfortunately, I completely overlooked the suite and did not purchase the dies, but the Two-Tone Flora die set worked well for this card.
I fussy cut some of the flowers from the Hues of Happiness DSP for the embellishment flowers. The sentiment was stamped with the Happiness Abounts stamp set, and I hand cut the flag.
I do love the Hues of Happiness Suite, but unfortunately this Suite (including die sets, stamp set and DSP) is retiring soon. To view clearance items, click here
