Global Design Project #GDP436: Case the Designer
THE CHALLENGE
This week at the Global Design Project, we are CASEing a card by Jay Soriano. When CASEing a project, we get to choose what we like from the design. It may be colours, layout, stamp set, theme - whatever inspires us to make a card of our own. Here is a look at the design by Jay Soriano.

ABOUT MY CARD
As you can see from my card, I loved both the colours and the layout by Jay Soriano, so I went with it. I thought that the Online Exclusive Zinnia suite was perfect for such a card.
CARD BASE: Flirty Flamingo
MAT #1: Calypso Coral
MAT #2: Petal Pink (embossed with Zinnia 3D Embossing Folder)
STAMP/DIE SET: Simply Zinnia Bundle
FLORAL IMAGES (Background): Die Cuts from Simply Zinnia on Flirty Flamingo and Basic White Thick.
FLORAL IMAGES (Coloured Elements):
- Simply Zinnia Stamp Set, heat embossed with Black Embossing Powder
- Stampin' Blends (Leaves): Dk Mossy Meadow + Light Old Olive, Dk Old Olive + Dk Lemon Lime Twist, Light Old Olive + Light Lemon Lime Twist
- Stampin' Blends (Flowers): Light Daffodil Delight (centers), Dark Calypso Coral + Light Calypso Coral, Dark Pumpkin Pie + Dark Petal Pink, Light Real Red + Light Petal Pink
EMBELLISHMENTS: Adhesive Backed Shiny Sequins
INSERT:
- Basic White, blending in Petal Pink on diagonal corners with floral image from Simply Zinnias in Flirty Flamingo.
- Flowering Zinnias DSP, stamped with image from Simply Zinnias in Flirty Flamingo
- Embellished with Adhesive Backed Shiny Sequins and border strips on the bottom from scraps.
