I created this elegant card as part of an Instagram Challenge to say a farewell to the Stampin' Up! May 2022 - April 2023 Catalogue as well as the January-April 2023 Catalogue. At the end of April we will say goodbye to some of our favorite Stampin' Up products, suites, bundles, papers and more. But we will also welcome some beautiful new products.
Today, April 1st, the theme of the Instagram Challenge was "I See Purple". Therefore, I have featured the Hues of Happiness DSP, showcasing the purple tones. As a background I used the Two-Tone Flora die for added texture, but if you were wanting to create this card, the Blossoming Happiness Dies also contains a beautiful background if you have the complete Hues of Happiness Suite. Unfortunately, I completely overlooked the suite and did not purchase the dies, but the Two-Tone Flora die set worked well for this card.
I fussy cut some of the flowers from the Hues of Happiness DSP for the embellishment flowers, and mounted them on one of the Scalloped Contours dies that I shortened. The sentiment was stamped with the Happiness Abounts stamp set, and die cut with a flag from the Stylish Shapes dies. Finally finished the card with the Glossy Dots Assortment and a sprig of White Glittered Organdy Ribbon.
Such a simple card, but mighty elegant!
