I created this landscape card as part of a Challenge to say a farewell to the Stampin' Up! May 2022 - April 2023 Catalogue as well as the January-April 2023 Catalogue. At the end of April we will say goodbye to some of our favorite Stampin' Up products, suites, bundles, papers and more. But we will also welcome some beautiful new products.
Today, April 12th, the theme of the Instagram Challenge was "I See Winter".
When the only winter stamp you have is the snowflake from the Season of Chic Stamp Set, but the creativity was just not flowing, you improvise. I still used the Season of Chic Stamp Set for the card base, but decided to turn things around. I used the Thanks A Bunch Stamp Set, flipping the carrot images to make trees. I heat embossed the snow with White Embossing Powder. Matted all this on Evening Evergreen cardstock to give a pop of colour.
Sentiment, also from the Thanks a Bunch Stamp Set, was chosen so that this card can be used for multiple occasions. Although we do not have snow here in Australia for Christmas, winter cards are still often used at this time of year. I thought it might also be used as a Celebration card for our cooler months here in Australia.
I have used Evening Evergreen and Mint Macaron in this card, both of which are retiring soon.
