I wasn't much of a fan of Pale Papaya until I made this card. I am in love with this card so very much. Do you think it has a vintage feel...because that is the vibe I was getting.
Using a Pale Papaya card base, I have utilised the Delicate Desert Suite to create this card design. I cut 1 1/2" squares of all the DSP in the suite to create the background on a base of Pale Papaya. I then ran this through the Cut & Emboss Machine with the Painted Texture embossing folder for a little added texture...matted it with a thin border on Soft Succulent cardstock.
I used the die cuts and Dry Brushed Metallic specialty paper from the Delicate Desert Suite to create the frame and mat for behind the sentiment. Finally created the floral arrangement by stamping the two flower images from the Suite on Pale Papaya cardstock with Cajun Craze and Calypso Coral for a vintage feel...coloured these with Stampin' Blends (Soft Succulent and Mint Macaron for the leaves, Light Pumpkin Pie and Light Pale Papaya for the flower petals, and finally Cajun Craze and Dark Calypso Coral for the flower centers with little dots for texture).
Sentiment is also from the Delicate Desert Suite. I think this card came together really nicely.
